History

2000: EVISTEL creation

2000: development of the EVISTEL platform: the DASP

2000: first customer acquisition and implementation of the first MO-SMS real-time rating and charging solution

2002: evolution of the DASP platform which handles up to 1000 TPS

2003: creation of the platform dedicated to IP data charging

2004: deployment of our first IP data real-time rating and charging solution

2006: the EVISTEL solutions exceed 110 million managed subscribers and top the 10 billion annual service attempts mark.

2008: launch of the DASP V5: increased capacity, higher number of signalling interfaces and high availability

2009: the DASP platform supports several tens of thousands of TPS

2010: with over 10 years experience in routing and charging, EVISTEL is a leading player in the data charging sector and offers two ranges of solutions: Open DASP and Real-time rating and charging core systems.


Vision

The telecommunications sector is constantly moving and is becoming an increasingly competitive market with the multiplication of available services and offers plus the explosion of mobile data.

With enhanced handsets and technologies, mobile subscribers now demand access to a multitude of sophisticated services whatever the time whatever the place. The launch of 3G with enhanced Internet and video services coupled with the fast development of roaming and messaging services is rapidly increasing network and charging complexity.

The challenge for operators is to gain subscribers loyalty and satisfaction by offering them the right services package and offer. In this context, they have to solve a complex equation: introducing new personalised services for every customer whilst guaranteeing the Quality of Service to preserve the brand, the short time to market to stay competitive, the control of the infrastructure cost and the preservation of past investments made on the existing legacy systems.

In answer to these market challenges and issues, EVISTEL proposes two main product ranges: the Open Data Service Platform which enables the creation and the launch of Value Added Services and the Real-time Rating and Charging Core Systems which has evolved to a complete convergent solution for rating and charging.
